1987 Ruger Model 77 RSI International in .270 WCF Caliber w/ Tang Safety ** Beautiful 98% Rifle W/Box! ** SOLD

Description:
This 1989 Ruger Model 77RSI is a beautiful rifle with the sought-after tang safety, full length Mannlicher type stock, and high quality construction that these vintage rifles are known for.  It appears to be an unfired example and rates 98% plus in condition. Chambered in the classic .270 Winchester cartridge this example is capable of taking any game in North America.  Introduced in 1968 the Ruger Model 77 was manufactured for 24 years until being discontinued in 1992 in favor of the M77 Mark II.  The Model 77 is considered the finest bolt-action rifle that Ruger ever made.  With a high quality high-gloss blue factory finish, excellent factory iron sights, rock-solid built-in scope bases, and an excellent quality checkered Walnut stock.  This particular example is serial number 770-99855 and has spent it's entire life in a safe.  It has never had a scope mounted on it and would be a mint 100% rifle if not for a few small handling marks on the stock. This Ruger is spectacular with near perfect metal and looks like it could have shipped from the factory last week.  The factory high-gloss blue finish is beautiful and bright, and the bore in this rifle is pristine with no pitting or imperfections of any kind.  The rifling still shows factory-sharp lands and gooves and is mirror-bright.  The internals are just as pristine as the exterior.  The checkering is still crisp and spotless with no soiling from handling or oiling.  The factory installed sling swivels, pistol grip cap, and Ruger-branded red recoil pad are all in excellent condition.  The recoil pad was perfectly fit to the wood and the length of pull on this rifle is 13 & 5/8ths inches to the end of the pad.  All of the controls on the rifle are 100% functional like the day the rifle left the factory, and the action is smooth and precise when worked by hand.  The bolt goes into battery perfectly, locking up tight with zero wiggle. Includes the original box, paper work and factory rings. This is a beautiful Ruger Model 77RSI and would make an excellent addition to any gun collection.  These early tang-safety models are truly an American classic and should be excellent long-term investments.
