The Ruger® Mini-14® Ranch Rifle Semi-Auto Rifle is a scaled down version of the US M-14 with no selective fire switch. The Ruger Mini-14 semi-automatic rifle has a solid reputation for being reliable under all conditions and has been proven in both law enforcement and military use worldwide. The Ranch Rifle operates with a very simple Garand-style design that uses a fixed-piston gas system where gas impinges directly upon the operating rod and a breech bolt locking system. A large extractor and fixed ejector send spent cases flying swiftly to the right of the shooter. The Ranch Rifle ejector is set to eject cases low to avoid hitting a mounted scope. No tools are required to quickly fieldstrip the rifle down to a few large parts that are not easily misplaced, and it reassembles just as quickly. A ghost ring, adjustable rear aperture sight and blade front sight provide for rapid target acquisition and hold up to rugged use. Integral scope mounts are machined into the receiver for mounting an optical sight.
