Winchester Model 1890 Take Down 22 W.R.F. Built in 1907
Description:
Serial #317523, .22 W.R.F., 24 inch octagon barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Winchester Model 1890 slide action, take down rifle manufactured in 1907. In very good to near excellent overall condition the barrel and magazine tube are retain about 75-80% of a thinning original blue finish with scattered freckles and isolated rough spots. The receiver is mostly gray-brown with very small spots of original blue. The stock and forearm are solid showing some old contusions and scratches fitted with the original crescent metal butt plate. It is sighted with the original sporting rear (1901 patent date) and Lyman blade with ivory insert front sight along with a combination tang sight with large screw in aperture. The action functions properly with a smooth pull holding at half and full cock. FFL or C&R
