Americas favorite deer rifle. The perfect hunting gun either on foot or from the saddle, lightweight, nimble and fast to action the 94′ is simple, safe and reliable. Designed by John Browning the Model 94 is the rifle most associated with the Winchester name, it has sold over 7,000,000 units and is often referred to as the “ultimate lever-action”. This solid frame Winchester saddle ring carbine, sn584038 made in 1911, has the long wood forend, and chambers the most desirable big bore .38-55 caliber. The 20” barrel has 95% factory bluing, an excellent bore with strong, sharp rifling, equipped with front post and rear carbine ladder sights. The receiver features a ½ mag with a 3+1 round capacity and has 20% factory bluing. The wood is without cracks or repairs, has superb wood-to-metal fit, plenty of “character marks” from years of use, but no heavy gouges or damage. Wearing its age well this rifle has developed a warm patina that compliments its furniture as only a vintage gun can, taking pride in its days spent out in the fields and woods. The gun has excellent mechanical condition and functions as designed. What a great gun to take to the woods and pursue game with the classic “stalk and walk” and a fast handling, lightweight classic.
