Westley Richards Bolt Action chambered in the firm's venerable .318 Accelerated Express based on an original commercial Mauser action with modern military type hinged floorplate. Updated with modern swing mounts with 1" rings and a new bolt shroud with a 3-position safety. 
Original 22" barrel has an island foresight and original barrel mounted sling eye. Island rear sight with 1 standing/2 folding leaves and Westley Richards' patented tangent sight. Barrel is marked "Westley Richards & Co., London" engraved on the barrel with the W.R.&Co. "Golden Triangle" trademark on the Nock's form. 
Probably a replacement stock done long ago with a rounded, semi-pistol grip, single steel recoil bar, and a 13 1/4" LOP over a traditional rubber recoil pad. Sling eye mounted on the stock's toe line. 
Rifle is in good, serviceable shape with a decent bore. The stock is crack and repair free and the rifle has been updated for modern hunting. A lot of life left in this rifle that has a lot of character.
