This is a nice and inexpensive custom built rifle on a Mauser action with the intent of making a unique, but affordable, working Dangerous Game rifle with some custom touches: engraved barrel and action rings, 24" medium heavy contoured Hart barrel, contoured trigger bow and Remington sights with hand-carded rust blue finish. The stock and barrel are attached with a barrel key or wedge that fits through a loop on the bottom of the barrel for strength and safety. It has the typical Mauser flag safety; single stage trigger worked to 5lbs letoff. No D&T, this is a DG rifle! Glass-bedded in a cross-bolted wood stock with sling studs. The stock has a Monte Carlo design with a raised cheek piece to a KickEZZ black recoil pad. The gun will shoot 1-1/2" groups at 100 yards. There are 30 rounds of 500 grain, precision reloaded, ammo for additional $125, 18 once fired brass for $40 and 22 new unprimed brass for $75.
