DANGEROUS GAME DOUBLE RIFLE IN CALIBER 458 WIN MAG BY LUDWIG BOROVNIK OF AUSTRIA
Description: The 26 inch Bohler Spezial Stahl barrels have excellent bores and retain most original blue.There is a small rub mark on the lower barrel ahead of the forend on the left side. Boxlock frame is a pleasing gray with foliate scroll on the bolsters and excellent games scenes left and right of water buffalo and rhinos. The bottom of the frame features overall scroll engraving with a bull elephant. The triggerguard retains all its original blue with nice scrolls and a depiction of Flaigs gun shop. Stock is classic style with a horn capped pistolgrip and a rounded left side cheekpiece. Just some very light scattered handling mars and a very slight gap between the frame and the buttstock due to shrinkage. LOP 14 1/8 inches to the end of the recoil pad. Rifle features double triggers.The set feature of the front trigger does not work and likely just needs an adjustment.The matted rib supports a simple bead front sight and a single standing u-notch rear with gold index line. The rib has been professionally milled for Warne-style scope bases and has a pair of 1” steel dual lever rings present.
