Carl Stiegele Mauser - 7x64 Brenneke - Vintage German 4x Scope
Description: ***SOLD*** We are offering a Carl Stiegele, Mauser 98 rifle in 7x64 Brenneke, one of many pieces from the private collection of firearms and outdoors retailer/distributor Lew Horton. This is one of two Mauser-action bolt rifles in the collection, both of which belonged to Mr. Horton’s father (no other info or provenance is known). The rifle was worked on my Mashburn Arms as evidenced by the trigger which is so-marked. The 26” barrel has excellent bluing and iron sighs in addition to the German #1 reticle’d scope. The fixed 4x scope is marked “W. Bischoff Braunschweig”. The bolt is jeweled and the floor plate on the fixed magazine is removable. The Monte Carlo stock has Schnabel forend, the rifle is outfitted with a sling attachments, a checked metal butt plate, and comes with a “Brauer Brothers” soft leather case. Mike’s Gun Shop, Inc. accepts Visa, M/C, Discover, money orders, personal checks, and cash (for local pick up). Prices reflect a cash discount - 3% will be added for the use of credit/debit cards. Personal checks are held until cleared. Please note we do not accept any form of payment from Bank Of America. The buyer will have 7 days to forward payment and FFL.
