For sale is my personal Savage Model 99R in the classic .300 Savage

• All original
• The Serial Number is 748420 which was manufactured in the Chicopee Falls factory around 1953-1954
• 24-inch medium weight barrel
• Original factory front and rear sights
• Factory swivel studs
• Bolt has Damascus jeweled finish
• Bluing on the barrel is very good
• Bluing on the receiver and steel butt plate has some wear from good, old fashion, honest use
• Checkered walnut stock is in very good condition, with original finish. It has a few small dents and impressions, but no cracks or chips
• Checkering is still sharp and strong
• Bore is very good and bright and shiny
• Drilled and tapped from the factory for scope mounting

The rifle comes with Weaver bases and low rings and a Redfield 1x-4x scope, which is period correct. The scope is in excellent condition.
Overall, this is a very nice Model 99R that has spent time in the mountains and filled the freezer with deer and elk, but has been well taken care of.
