1892 EL Tigre Eibar Saddle Ring Carbine in 44-40 caliber
Description:
Here is a early 1900s very nice 1892 model El Tigre saddle ring carbine in the Winchester 44-40 caliber. These are copies of the 1892 Winchester carbine though slightly more robust. This one has a EX bore and great working action and all appears original. These were made in Spain in 1915 or so and most went to the Mexican Military and Police. Has a 22 inch barrel and action exactly like the Winchester. Most came with sling swivels but this one does not have them. Wood is solid and rather nice. I have not shot it in 20+ yrs but see no reason it should not work just fine.
