Interarms Whitworth Mauser Express Rifle in .375 H&H
Description:
Serial #B276338, .375 H&H Magnum, 24" barrel with an excellent, bright bore.
This rifle is built on the tried and true Mark X Mauser action and retains 85-90% of the original blue with silvering at the muzzle, and gray fading from carry along the magazine floorplate, and exterior of the trigger guard bow.
The rifle is outfitted with the factory sporting bead front sight and folding leaf express rear sight.
The receiver has a Weaver front scope base fitted, but no rear base (filler screws are present on the bridge), and the action has had some refinement work done: it cycles smoothly, without any hang-ups or roughness.
The walnut stock has classic Safari lines with black forend cap, and low shadow line cheek-piece.
The wood has several small handling marks and minor blemishes in the original varnish finish, but the checkering is still strong and sharp.
The steel grip cap has bright color case-hardening remaining, and the original “WHITWORTH" marked recoil pad is still fitted.
The rifle comes with QD swivels, and is in very good condition; obviously used, but never abused.
