NEW SHILOH SHARPS ON ORDER AND IN STOCK NOW! (many new additions)
Description: (NOTE: THE PHOTO IS NOT OF THESE RIFLES) The following Shiloh Sharps rifles are on order and should be arriving close to the dates listed. I have been a Shiloh Sharps dealer since 1993 and am now the ONLY real stocking dealer of these fine rifles. I can also place custom orders and usually have rifles made to your specifications in about 6-8 months. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ THE FOLLOWING RIFLES ARE IN STOCK NOW OR ARE ON ORDER AND BEING BUILT NOW. PRICES SHOWN INCLUDE SHIPPING & INSURANCE. THIS IS YOUR TOTAL AMOUNT. IN STOCK NOW! TRULY UNIQUE AND EXCITING SHILOH SHARPS OFFERING! Once again, I have contracted with Shiloh to make a very limited run of only TWELVE (12) non-catalogued special "DELUXE LIGHT HUNTING RIFLES." These rifles will all be in .50-70 (1 3/4" case) caliber with non-catalogued 24" standard half-octagon barrels and double set triggers. They will have straight stocks of semi-fancy walnut, steel shotgun butt plates, cheek pieces with accent lines, pewter tips, brass escutcheons and full buckhorn rear sights (tangs are drilled and tapped for any sights you might want to add). These unique Shilohs are a little longer than carbines, but shorter than typical sporters and should make for ideal hunting rifles that you can carry in the field without lugging around a lot of unnecessary weight. These rifles IN STOCK NOW! Note: the .50-70 case is now a legal hunting cartridge in many Mid-Western states- check your regulations. The only changes that can be made are adding MVA sights, which I can provide for you. Total delivered price including Federal Excise tax, the shipping case/box Shiloh provides, oversize fully insured and signature required UPS shipping, my fee etc. $4195. (ONLY A FEW LEFT) UNUSUAL SHILOH SHARPS OFFERING: BRAND NEW IN THE BOX 1874 QUIGLEY MODEL. This rifle was custom ordered by me for a customer who put a deposit down at the time of ordering. The rifle just came in with several others a couple of months ago. For personal reasons, this individual was not able to pay for his rifle and forfeited his original deposit. Now I've got it for sale. Therefore, I've discounted the final price by $800. Here's what it is: 1874 Quigley Model ordered to be exactly like the movie rifle- standard features include .45-110 caliber, 34" heavy octagon barrel, semi-buckhorn rear barrel sight, #108 midrange vernier tang sight with #111 globe front sight that will accept inserts, pewter forend tip, Hartford collar on the barrel, patchbox and antique finish on entire gun (again, like the movie gun), Initials "J R D" in gold with gold oval on the receiver. Interestingly, The movie Quigley Down Under came out in 1990. That's when a load of people ordered Shiloh rifles to be like the movie gun. So, if one were 45 years old in 1990 and ordered a rifle, he'd receive it after 4 years backorder in 1994 when he was 49. That was almost 31 years ago which would put him now at about 80 years old. What I'm getting at is that there are now and will me more Quigley (and other models with initials) rifles finding their way to the used market/ houses. The initials will be viewed as simply part of the history of the rifle and in time will not detract from the value- in fact, it may eventually add to the value- sort of like an antique Winchester or Colt with an inscription or monogram. Originally, the total delivered price from me including all Federal Excise Tax, shipping etc. was $5039.95. So, after deducting $800 the sale price is now $4239.95. Comes with all paperwork and warranty card etc. Brand new in the Shiloh provided case/box. Serial number 99xxB. For an extra $60 I'll throw in a new box of 20 RCBS .45 cal. basic brass (3 1/4"). This is the first time after selling over 2,000 Shilohs since the 1990s that I've had a customer not be able to pay for his rifle upon completion! His loss can be your gain!
