Beautiful and incredibly accurate Remington Ultimate Muzzleloader (((FFL REQUIRED)). I have owned this gun from new. It has been hunted with and killed a few NY whitetail. The gun is in great condition with only a few minor blemishes ( light surface rust spots which are pictured as best as I can get them). The only other issue with the rifle is the end of the ramrod which is a bit beat up from contacting the rod retaining spring. This does not affect the use of the gun in any way but is a bit ugly. The gun comes with 75 Remington Ultimate Primers which alone are selling for over $150 for 24. The gun also comes with a Leupold VX-2 3-9 scope which matches the gun very well. I added Alumina Leupold flip up caps to the scope witch in my opinion are the cats ass.
I have shot this gun very confidently out to 200 yards. I have a friend thats has successfully taken a Caribou with his rifle at 287 yards measured by his guide. This is about the most reliable muzzleloader you can possibly purchase using 308 cases as primers it's pretty damn hard to get it not to fire. The only reason I'm getting rid of this amazing gun is because it's heavy. I enjoy still hunting during the late season and this is not the gun for that.
