I'm selling my collection. Here is a Remington Model 8 Semi-Auto Takedown Semi-Auto Rifle, C&R or FFL is required. It’s chambered for rarest .25 Remington rimless caliber of the famous Model 8/81 sery, it's a .30 Remington case necked down to.25 caliber. According to the serial number and the markings it was manufactured or shipping in 1910. Rarely found in such excellent condition as an old re-blue .25 Rem being the smallest caliber of the famous ligne of the Model 8, 22" barrel, the bore is very good and shiny with deep sharp rifling. The Blue finish rates 95% with very few pin prick clusters of erosion and tiny scratches. Serial numbers all matched. Sharp and well defined approval markings. It comes with its rare original period Marbles Flexible Peep sight ($300 value when you ever can find it). The dark walnut wood stock original Remington buttplate, the metal & wood have small stratches from time and storrage rack. This 113 years old rifle was well kept. The successful design of John Browning Remington Model 8. For an extra $275 it could come with 2 sets of RCBS reloading dies (over $200 value), an original box of Remington cases with 11 primed cases and an original box containing 18 .25 Rem 87gr bullets and its canvas/leather case which will need some repair. The ammunitions, clip & pamphlets showed on picture are not for sale. I haven't shot this one. I described it to the best of my knowledge. Please don't ask for extra pictures.
