REMINGTON ARMS Co. No. 2 .32 Cal. Rimfire ROLLING BLOCK SPORTING Rifle C&R
Single Shot RIMFIRE Rifle BOY’S RIFLE
Description: REMINGTON ARMS Co. No. 2 .32 Cal. Rimfire ROLLING BLOCK SPORTING Rifle C&R Single Shot RIMFIRE Rifle BOY’S RIFLE Here we present a C&R Remington Arms Company No. 2 Rolling Block Sporting Rifle, manufactured between 1888 and 1910 in Ilion, New York. Using serial numbers to determine the date of manufacture for these Rolling Blocks is sketchy, to say the least. This rifle is the classic “boys” rifle. It was also Remington’s smallest and lightest Rolling Block. Chambered for .32 caliber rimfire cartridges, it was the plinker and the game-getter for many a youth. Being a single shot, it naturally instills the “make your one shot count” mentality from a young age. This specimen features a 28 inch octagonal barrel equipped with fixed sights. It is still a great rifle for a youngster to learn on today. This is a neat old rifle with lots of life left yet! The No. 2 Remington Rolling Block is a smaller scale civilian model sporting rifle using a receiver patterned after the 1871 Army pistol. A number of the parts are interchangeable with the 1871, 1891 and 1902 pistols as well as the No. 7 target rifle. This rifle was produced in a wide variety of rimfire and center fire cartridges. The rim fire models with bar extractors are the most numerous. The overall condition is good. Original finish. The front and rear sight are replacements. The action is excellent. The bore is a bit dim with worn rifling. The walnut stock is in good condition with signs of use. There are a couple minor splits around the bottom tang. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 28 inches. Caliber: .32 Rimfire Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL. This firearm is classified as a Curio and Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $1300 #220011 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
