Offered here for sale and just acquired is an end of year special vintage .22 “Plinker” – a Remington Model 4 rifle passed down through a family from the 1930s. This specimen, serial number 326196 is a .22 takedown model with 23” barrel. Along the way the stock had been cleaned and varnish. The barrel remains clean with a mixture of blue and turned brown. The bore is good. Original buttplate. The forearm has just a little play in it but overall the .22 will make a fine plinker for the potential buyer. L52.
