EXPERT grade Remington Model 8 Auto loading rifle in 300 Savage Joseph Loy Engraved GEM.

Description:
This is an awesome little piece of American deer hunting history.   The Expert grade engraved Model 8 rifle is one of the rare finds out there.  This one is funcational, manageable,  respectable and awesome. It was most likely engraved by the renouned Joesph Loy, and it shares strokes and features as seen on the incredible 1894 double barrel shotguns and other High grade Remington rifles.  This one wears a Lyman #41 receiver sight.    Like so many it was drilled for a side mount scope and wears the ugly scars of poor judgement. It has the oh-so-horrid white line spacer recoil pad of the mid 20th century...  I wish I had a dime for every one of those sold!  It is factory chambered in .300 Savage, mostly likely at a later date when it received the addidtional date code on the barrel. The 300 Sav brass didn't make it in time to harvest a late season 2024 doe with this gun,  You can be sure it will get the chance to explore the Eastern woodlands in the fall of 2025,  in my hands or yours.
