Remington Fieldmaster Takedown Model 121 Pump Rifle Built 1947
Description:
Serial #93718, .22 S, L, LR, 24.75 inch round barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Model 121 "Fieldmaster" slide action rifle manufactured by Remington in June of 1947. In excellent condition the barrel and frame retain about 87-90% of the original blue with the loss due to moderate thinning along the barrel and light wear on high edges and contact points; the bolt remains bright. The smooth pistolgrip walnut stock and 38-groove flat-bottom forend are in very good plus condition with scattered light handling marks and some light finish wear at the edge of the checkered aluminum buttplate, which shows general light wear. The factory markings are intact and crisp. The rifle is sighted with a bead front sight, u-notch rear sight missing its elevator, and a Lyman receiver-mounted aperture rear sight. There is a little vertical movement at the rear of the frame where the take down sections meet. An excellent post-war Remington 121. FFL or C&R
