REMINGTON ~ GAMEMASTER 760 ~ .300 SAVAGE
Description: This early Gamemaster was produced in the 1953-1958 time frame as the .300 Savage was discontinued in 1958. It has a grooved walnut fore end, "iron" sights, and provision for scope. The aluminum butt plate was a high-end add-on as aluminum was quite expensive at the time, and was used for decoration more than utility. The rifle itself is in great condition, especially considering it is now nearly 70. .300 Savage Chambers: 4 rounds Metal Condition: "Good to very good. The receiver has a couple light scratches, and there is a scrape on the barrel under the front sight, right side. Wood Condition: "Very good. Original finish is intact, there are a few handling marks. Bore Condition: Shiny and bright with good rifling. Barrels: 22 inches Triggers: Factory trigger. Stock Dimensions: LOP: 13-1/2 inches Fore End: 28-groove walnut beavertail. Butt Pad: Blacked aluminum plate. Weight: 7 lb - 1 oz Sights: Gold bead and buckhorn open sights.
