Beautiful McWhorter Custom Rifles Remington 700 in 260 Remington

Custom rifle, built on a Remington 700 action by Tim McWhorter, founder of WcWhorter Custom Rifles in Doerun, GA back in the 90's.  (I bought this rifle several years ago from an elderly friend, now deceased, who had McWhorter to build it and do not have complete information on it.)  Satin stainless metal, blind magazine repeater, bolt opens on safe, crisp light trigger with no creep, 20” standard weight stainless barrel with tapered recess crown and 1/9 twist (most likely Hart), beautiful custom laminated walnut stock out of Montana, checkered steel grip cap, bedded action, free floated barrel, LOP 14” over Decelerator pad, overall length 40”, weight 7.5 lbs.  The photos show the almost mint overall condition of the rifle.  I have some load data from my friend and a little ammo/brass.  Please call or text me at 615-714-7900 with any questions regarding the rifle or its history.
