I'm selling my collection. Here is a Remington Model 8 Semi-Auto Takedown Semi-Auto Rifle, C&R or FFL is required. It’s chambered in reamless .30 Remington rimless caliber barrel marked 30.30 Rem ( same size & ballistic of the .30-30 Winchester). According to the serial number and the markings it was manufactured or shipping in Dec 1929. It comes with its rare period Readfield peep sight (over $300) when ever you can one of them. Rarely found in good condition , 22" barrel with a bore is very good and shiny with deep sharp rifling. The original factory blue finish rates 75% inspite of few small scratches and dents, at some point it was drilled and tapped on the left side of the receiver almost imperceptible with a naked eye. Serial numbers all matched. Sharp and well defined approval markings. The walnut wood of the stock slightly belly perch with its typical original Remington buttplate, the metal & wood have small stratches from time and storrage rack. This 109 years old rifle was well kept and doesn't look it seen much action. The successful design of John Browning Remington Model 8. The ammunitions, clip & pamphlets are not for sale.
