For sale is a nice Remington Model 24, chambered in .22LR this is a tube fed rifle and semi-automatic. The rifle features a 21\" barrel, manual safety and iron sights. It is a takedown rifle, however dismantling it that far was not attempted.
Mechanical- The tube feed spring has lots of tension, and should work for a long time to come. Safety fire control group and action all work as designed. Basic function test with a snap cap shows a good strike from firing pin, fed and extracted perfectly.
Condition- The wood is a very pretty \"dark red,\" it does have a small crack starting at the rear of the receiver (opposite the side with the feed port), but looks cosmetic. The handguard looks to have been repaired at one point with wood filler, and color matched.
