SOLD , Dan Buckingham , ArkOffering for sale a early Remington model 14 takedown carbine in the rimless .30 Rem cartridge. sn c 24752, from what I've read I'm guessing it's a 1914-15 Mfg. Has a 18.5" barrel , rear sight is a Remington sight but not the wheel sight  that came with them. Carbine is the way it was when I bought it at a yard sale. Has the metal Rem butt plate , looks like a small repaired crack at wrist that was expertly done. I've shot it , seems to cycle ammo fine. I've two full factory Remington boxes I'd maybe sell as well but might list them separate, tough to find. This is a nice little rifle for woods hunting or for a collection as most have the 22" barrel. These were made from 1914-34 to the tune of around 125k maybe 16k as carbines.  the bore looks respectable , not a long range shooter. I've heard the .30 Rem is identical to the Win 30/30, also the 30/30 dies will work, I've a half dozen empty brass I might just try them. Anyway I'm asking $800. shipped.
