Remington Model 12-C Slide Action Rifle - Cal. 22 S-L-LR - 24" octagon Bbl. - SN 235XXX(1913). Excellent bore is , bright with sharp rifling - excellent action. Metal is excellent with no rust, pits, or corrosion and has sharp markings, and retains 90% + original blue showing slight wear or thinning on sharp edges and bottom of receiver. Front sight is a period replacement Lyman ivory bead sporting sight and the rear is a period Redfield Rocky Mtn. with the "white diamond" on the rear. Wood is excellent overall but the buttstock has a chip on the upper left at the receiver and a few minor dings and scuffs from normal use. A very crisp mechanically perfect early 12-C in VG ++ condition and, except for sights, all original. These early 12-Cs are very difficult to find and this one will make a super shooter, hunter, and collectible.
