After the war, Remington had a few left over Model 1907-15 berthier rifles. True to form of gunmakers of the period, they didn't let them go to waste. The sporterized and sold them. this is one of those rifles. The approximately 25½"" round 9mm Lebel cartridge barrel has an excellent bore. In addition to the 6"" shorter than standard barrel, the bolt handle is turned down, and the nose cap is modified. Metal is excellent with approximately 95% blue.
