Remington 760 BDL Deluxe Model Made in 1976. VG to EX Cond Very Sharp Bargain

Description:
SALE PENDING JEFF S. 4/2/22 Deluxe and somewhat gaudy version of Rem 760 now sought after by collectors and hunters alike. These will never be made again in this iteration.
The deluxe or BDL of that era was sylized in the manner of 60's cars with fins; with bold deep pressed basket weave checkering, reverse slanted black forend tip and stepped receiver. This gun is in pretty much exceptional conditon for a gun that is coming up on 45 yrs. There had been a minor repair at the toe but the blue and original factory finish is somewhere around 90%, factory sights are still on the gun and there is little signe of its being carried or hunted. Chambered in powerful and capable 30-06 which was at one time avail with faclory ammo with bullet weights from 125 to 220, Woodchucks to the big bears. The deluxe models like this one were believed to have been produced from 1966 to 1980. This gun was made in June of 1976.
Tthe dust cover was lost after a cleaning but a new one will ship with the gun (requres some dissaembly ....easily followed on youtube) and scope filler screws are also missing. There is a small professionally done repair at or near the toe of the stock.
