Consigned by the estate of Tom Siatos, serial 313846 bears the gold inscription “Presented to Tom Siatos by Remington Arms Company at the 1967 Firearms Editors' Seminar, Merrymeeting Bay, Maine”. Features include a 22-inch barrel (ramp front sight with brass-beaded blade, adjustable rear sight, gloss wood finish and a Redfield 1-4x scope. DIMENSIONS: Weight (with optic) is 8.6 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.35 inches. CONDITION: The bore is outstanding. Trigger pull is crisp. Metal finish is at least 95 percent with minor indications of handling and a scratch at the lower edge of the inscription. Wood also exceeds 95 percent and shows small impressions. The optic is clouded. No box or papers. TOM SIATOS (1923-2008) spent the majority of his life in close association with firearms and hunting. His professional contributions, tremendous category knowledge, bottomless enthusiasm and bold personality influenced the firearm industry and outdoor media to such a degree that it remains a viable force today.
