Description:
This is a very unique and professionally done Remington 700 benchrest target rifle that has many custom features and is in excellent shape! It has a Lilja 1 in 12" twist 22" inch ultra-heavyweight stainless barrel that still has an excellent bore with plenty of rifling. The barrel is marked .308 win 333 neck. Built out of a long action so that you can seat the bullets out further. Also has a Score High single shot mag follower. The stock is a heavyweight Mcmillan target model with a seafoam blue colored swirl pattern. Has a Pachmayr slip-on rubber butt pad with no attached pad underneath. This rifle has a Jewell trigger with no safety and let me tell you, it is an outstanding trigger with virtually no creep or overtravel and it probably takes less than a pound of pressure to go off, you barely have to touch it. This is definitely a target rifle and should not be carried around, load it once you're ready to shoot your target! Has an external bolt catch installed also. If you were to have this rifle custom built by a gunsmith it would cost you well over $2000.
