These unique carbines were offered between approx 1964 and 1969; the magnum version was lst offered in a Walnut stock version and then in the distinctive factory laminated Walnut and Beach iteration. Chambered in 6.5 Rem and in 350 Remington. In this chambering it makes an exceptional woods Elk, Moose or Bear rifle in with its dimunitive size (under 37" overall) a good back up gun for campers and fishers in bear country.
Conditon overall is good to very good; metal no far from new, wood with a number of hunting/ handling marks: wood 80 or more %, metal over 90%.
The vent rib and t.guard are often warped on these but both are quite good on this gun. Rear site removed at some point for scope clearance now gone but are usually avail from varous sources if someon wants to replace it.
The unique Redfield scope base has a pop up peep site (see pics)
These (meaning the 600 series) were known for excellent accuracy.

These unique carbines were offered between approx 1964 and 1969; the magnum version was lst offered in a Walnut stock version and then in the distinctive factory laminated Walnut and Beach iteration. Chambered in 6.5 Rem and in 350 Remington. In this chambering it makes an exceptional woods Elk, Moose or Bear rifle in with its dimunitive size (under 37" overall) a good back up gun for campers and fishers in bear country.
Conditon overall is good to very good; metal no far from new, wood with a number of hunting/ handling marks: wood 80 or more %, metal over 90%.
The vent rib and t.guard are often warped on these but both are quite good on this gun. Rear site removed at some point for scope clearance now gone but are usually avail from varous sources if someon wants to replace it.
The unique Redfield scope base has a pop up peep site (see pics)
These (meaning the 600 series) were known for excellent accuracy.
