Navy Arms Siamese Mauser 45-70
Description:
This is a Navy Arms conversion of a Siamese Mauser in 45-70. The rifle is used and has some scratches and dings in the stock and a few spots on the bbl. It does appear to be in otherwise very good condition, the bore looks new. I do not know the twist rate of the rifling. This rifle has the 26in bbl and is marked Navy Arms CO; Ridgefield, N.J. U.S.A. The bolt handle remains straight and there is a vented recoil pad. It has a Williams rear sight and a ramp front sight with a bead. It is not drilled or tapped for a scope. It does have sling swivel studs. It's a unique rifle and reported to be capable of shooting any professionally published load for the 45-70. I have not shot this rifle.
