Presenting a stunning Faeton™ Underhammer Rifle which features a meticulously browned, 30-inch octagonal barrel of .62 caliber. This rifle boasts slow-twist Genuine Forsyth Rifling™, designed for highest velocity with a round ball. High velocity means flatter trajectories in the field and plenty of knockdown power. While this rifle is built for big-game hunting, its slender, perfectly balanced form handles more like a fine shotgun than a traditional muzzleloader.

As showcased in the photos, the Faeton’s action is a marvel of simplicity—just two moving parts: the hammer and trigger. The ingenious design allows the trigger guard to double as the mainspring, powering the hammer. It fires musket caps which provide a much hotter flame to ignite the large blackpowder charges it’s capable of handling.

For over two decades, Faeton™ has been synonymous with premium-quality, high-powered underhammer rifles, and this model proudly carries on that tradition. It’s crafted from curly American walnut, featuring a petite cheekpiece highlighted with an elegant shadow line.

The receiver and buttplate showcase a striking faux Damascus pattern, while the hammer, trigger, trigger guard, and pins are all finished in a rich nitre-blue, giving them a deep sapphire hue. R.J. Renner’s exclusive Adjustable Peephorn™ Sight is mounted at the rear, paired with a fine German silver front blade sight—making this rifle as accurate as it is beautiful.
