From a mid-west sale, a very nice Hatfield full stock 50 caliber Percussion Rifle. My brother Ted Hatfield started making guns in our garage over 40 years ago and now he is Walmart's largest gun supplier. His guns all now come from a factory, but these full stock rifles were made one at a time, by hand. The beautiful wood of the Tiger Striped maple is aged to a uniform color with no cracks however, there are dents and dings (see photos). This gun has been lightly used but is in perfect working condition. The gun is 55" over all length with a 39"barrel (What I can see of the bore looks good....I have not cleaned this gun). This rifle has been altered from the original by replacing the ram rod with a modern fiberglass one as well as replacing the front sight with an after market sight. There has been two holes drilled and threaded on the top barrel flat (see photos) The double set trigger and lock function as they should. The lock has has vivid color case hardening (see photos). This rifle comes with the original blue logo gun sleeve and my brother supplied me with a Letter of Authenticity. He said this was one of the best guns he ever made.
