Mossberg Model 42 M (C) 22 caliber (Long Rifle, Long and Short) training rifle. This is a US Property marked. These were typically Lend / Lease rifles sendt to the UK for troop training purposes. This gun has excellent original finishes with US Property markings on the action and the Eagle and three star cartouche on the cheek piece. Barrel is 23" with an excellent bore. Peep sight swivels and is correct for the gun. Has a hinged metal butt plate with a recessed place for an extra clip (extra clip not included). Missing one of the colored safety button designation knobs that press into the stock (does not affect functionality). Weight of the gun is 6 LBS 5 1/8 OZ. Shipping is $75. C&R accepted.
