Here we present a C&R Soviet Russia Mosin-Nagant Model 1891/30 Rifle, made circa 1928 at the Izhevsk Arsenal with a production run between 1891 and 1973 and most certainly saw action in World War II. This was no doubt the most prolific version of the Mosin–Nagant. It was produced for standard issue to all Soviet infantry from 1930 to 1945. Most Dragoon rifles were also converted to the M1891/30 standard.

This rifle is a 1930 variant of the original Model 1891. The Soviet Model 1891 known in the West as the Mosin–Nagant and in Russia as Mosin's rifle is a five-shot, bolt action, internal magazine fed military rifle developed from 1882 to 1891 and used by the armed forces of the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union and various other nations.
The overall condition is good as arsenal refurbished. Robust action. Bright, rifled bore. This example has a solid stock with an average amount of wear, dents, and dings. Markings are sharp. “CAI” import marked receiver. Pre-import numbers match. Fine bayonet. “1928” dated barrel.
