Description:
This is a superb hunting rifle from Montana Rifle Company that is unfired and minty, and for all intents and purposes is a new rifle.  This is their Extreme X2 model rifle chambered in .280 Remington.  It comes with the original box, paperwork, and outer shipping carton/box.  The X2 model is an all-weather design made of stainless steel and uses the company's Model 1999 action.  It has a long list of features including a 24" inch #2 contour barrel with a 1 in 9.5" twist rate, a synthetic stock, an adjustable "old style" Model 70 trigger, and a glass-bedded action.  The barrel is button-rifled, hand-lapped, and free-floated.  The synthetic stock is made of carbon fiber material with Kevlar reinforcements in the imbedded aluminum pillars, sling swivel attachment points, and high-stress areas.  The Model 1999 action features controlled-round feeding with a Mauser-style extractor, and is glass bedded into the stock for supreme accuracy.  It is truly a top-of-the-line hunting rifle and Montana Rifle Company guarantees that if it will not shoot 1 MOA or better they will replace it free of charge.  If you were to order this rifle new it would cost over $1500, here is your chance to get a new-old-stock rifle for several hundred less.  If you have been looking for a new deer hunting rifle that all of your hunting buddies will be jealous of this year, this is it.  It truly is a "custom" rifle at the cost of a nice standard run-of-the-mill production gun.
