WWI US MODEL 1917 EDDYSTONE
Description: This is a fine example of a US WWI Battle Rifle. According to historical records, Sgt. Alvin York used a 1917 Enfield, but not this one! The rifle is in the original issue configuration with no alterations. The barrel is dated Flaming Bomb 1918. The walnut stock is very nice and has great grain pattern. 99% original blued finish, no pitting or corrosion. Mechanically perfect. The bore has no pitting and very sharp rifling. I would consider a full or partial trade for a Colt 1917 ACP revolver, Enfield or Webley WWII .455 revolvers, German manufactured Walther PPK 7.65, 0r Colt 1903 7.65.
