Very Late WW2 Type III M1 Carbine By Inland, Manufactured in early 1945, from the end of the fifth production block (serial number range 6,629,884 to 7,234,883) by Inland Manufacturing Division between November 1944 to August 1945, which included M2 production. Original, parts correct with handstamped M1 rollmark on the receiver ring, "2-45" dated Inland barrel, "SI" type III barrel band, "R" marked front sight, "I.R.CO." type III adjustable peep rear sight, "P-I" type V operating rod, "A.I" blued round-top bolt, and milled Inland trigger housing with "M" type V magazine catch, "I A O" type IV rotary safety, and "I-I" type III hammer. Fitted with a walnut low-wood stock marked "IO" in the sling channel along with an "ordnance wheel" cartouche stamp on the right of the butt, an "IO" marked four-rivet handguard, and a blued "IS" magazine.. Condition, Exceptionally fine with most all original finishes with some minor bruises. Mechanically fine
