Description:
U.S. Springfield M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle. Receiver manufactured c. 1956. SA "1 55" dated barrel, "high hump" gas cylinder lock, SA trigger housing, hammer and safety with unmarked stamped trigger guard, replacement HRA operating rod and bolt, boxed DoD eagle cartouche stamped on left stock wrist with a circled serif "P" proof on underside front of the grip. Fine as arsenal refurbished, with some cycling wear and finish wear on the gas cylinder. Stock is also fine as sanded and re-oiled, with scattered light scratches and dents.
