This rifle is very fine as reworked and refinished, with limited edge wear, limited brown patina, carbon residue on the gas cylinder, and minor handling evidence. Modern replacement stock is fine as varnished. Mechanically excellent. The Garand was the service rifle of the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War.
