Description:
Type 99 Arisaka Japanese bolt action rifle. This rifle is chambered for 7.7x58mm and was the battle rifle used by the Japanese army during WW2. This rifle was built by the Jinsen arsenal in Japanese-occupied Korea. It features a matching bolt, but the chrysanthemum has been ground off. The rear barrel band is missing the screw that holds it in place. The bore is dark but the rifling is strong. Serial number 48148
