1802 British Imperils Henshaw Afghan/Jezail Flintlock Rifle
Description: Here is an amazing piece of 19th century military/world history, from a time when "the sun, never set on the British empire ", made by William Henshaw of London England (1850-1900)and a survivor of the Indian mutiny of 1857-59 we have the Henshaw Banduk. Chambered in 14mm, with an "Afghan" type shoulder section. Ornate with brass banding and marked with British proof marks. Overall good condition with signs of wear and use dating back to 1802. The wood and barrel are in good shape for its age, though solid, some bands are loose and might require tightening.
