** SOLD ** 1953 / Korean War Vintage "Postage Stamp" International Harvester M1 Garand chambered in .30-06 Springfield ** SOLD **
Description: This is an excellent example of a Korean War Era "Postage Stamp" International Harvester M1 Garand chambered in 30-06 Springfield. Manufactured in 1953, this M1 Garand is correct original condition. The original parkerized finish is in great condition across the entirety of the rifle with only scattered amounts of handling marks and light high-edge wear. All internal parts are correct and original. The original stock is in great overall condition with no signs of cracks, just various scattered handling marks, and slight dents. The top forend is in equally as great condition and shows various scattered handling marks. The stock has the correct "P" proofing mark, D.O.D. cartouche and numbered barrel channel. The barrel is the correct LMR 5-53 dated and has a perfect bore. The throat and muzzle erosion measures slightly less than a 1 with sharp rifling and no signs of pitting or corrosion. The action is tight and the rifle is in 100% working order. This correct and original International Harvester would make an outstanding addition to any collection.
