Inland M1 Carbine Transitional Model

Description:
This is an interesting Inland M1 carbine from early 1944. The M1 carbine was going through some changes at this point and this carbine is proof of those changes. First, it has a type two barrel band and increased dwell operating slide. It also has a flat bolt and an Underwood marked rear flip sight. Inland received flip sights from most of the prime contractors that were getting their contracts cancelled at the beginning of 44.
