RARE JAPANESE TYPE 1 PARATROOPER FOLDING CARBINE
Description: REDUCED! $12500 Arguably, this is the rarest of all Japanese military rifles - a Type 38 paratrooper folding carbine - made at Nagoya arsenal early in the war before Japan produced a dedicated paratrooper rifle. These were apparently made from Series 4 and 5 Nagoya Type 38 carbines with only about 150 produced. This is an all matching(including the dust cover!), all original gun, that is listed in Francis Allan Type 38 book by the serial number! The gun is in fantastic shape with practically no wear on the metal (except for a spot on the dust cover) and a very nice wood with the usual dings and scratches but no cracks or pieces missing. All the hinge assembly parts and the buttplate are marked with assembly letters and numbers as they should be. Most of the original black paint still remains on the hinge. This is a "holy grail" of the Japanese military rifles collecting and becomes available for sale once in a lifetime. more pictures available on request. Layaway available. 3-day inspection. FFL or C&R(where legal) unless prohibited by your state or municipality. $150 insured shipping in CONUS. Layaway available Price: $12,500.00 Curio/Relic: Yes Contact Seller |
