"Rare German WWII Gustloff Werke VG1-5 ""Last ditch"" rifle 7.92x33mm Kurz (R40931)

Serial No. TH1447, made in 1945, 7.92x33mm Kurz, 14.9"" round barrel. Original dull phosphate finish remains on metallic parts. Bore is bright with strong rifling, stock has light handling wear. Left side is marked ""TH1447"". The regional leader of the state of Thuringia order these guns, so you will not see any Waffenamts. Magazine is marked right side ""FXO/Eagle/37, left side is marked ""MP44"". Sling is from a German mask canister and is in very good condition. Action functions correctly. One of the rarest last ditch weapons used by the Volkssturm troops.
