Description:
This Lee Enfield “Mummy Wrapped” No.4 Mk.2 was manufactured at the Fazakerley Factory in 1955.
The rifle is covered in cosmoline and is still in its long-term storage paper.
This rifle appears to be a "Blondie" Rifle (See Pics) in that the stock is very lightly colored finish.
The last picture is the color of the other Blondie 303 rifle in this estate.
The receiver has been exposed to verify the Stock color, Serial Number, Manufacturing date, and Factory. This information also matches the information on the rifle tag outside of the paper wrapper.
The rifle is in Un-issued condition. It comes with a cosmoline wrapped No. 9 bayonet & scabbard.
There is an import mark at the end of thje barrel, "CAI ST ALB VT" This is a Century Arms International stamp.
The left side of the receiver is marked “No.4 MK. 2 UF 55, A7094. It was manufactured in 1955 at the Fazakerley factory in England.
There is a tag affixed to the exterior wrapping near the buttplate.(See Pics)
It is marked “Rifle No.4. Mk. 2.”, “C.R. 18 GA.”, “(Normal Butt)”, “FAZ. April 1955”, “NEW”.
I can only ship to the lower 48 states.
