French D'Armes MLE 1886 M93 (8mm Lebel, manufactured 1900)
Description: This is a French M93 8mm Lebel rifle, manufuactured by D'armes in 1900. This model first entered service in the French Army in 1897, and was the first smokeless powder rifle used by the military. Repeating rifle that holds 8 rounds in its forestock tube magazine. The ladder rear sight is adjustable from 850 to 2,400 meters. This rifle has an excellent bore, wood condition is as to be expected for a 120 year old rifle; please see pictures for more details of wood and metal condition. All matching serial numbers. Good mechanics and overall "good" condition! This gun is located at 2nd Amendment Gun Shop located in Seymour, Missouri.
