Manufactured by Madsen of Denmark as a contract rifle for Colombian armed forces. This example has a 22" barrel with a muzzle brake and chambered in .30-06 Springfield. The left side of the receiver is marked "Madsen M. G./A.", "5800-58" and "Cal. .30". The top of the receiver is marked "FUERZAS ARMADAS / DE / COLOMBIA" for Naval Forces of Colombia. The top of the cocking indicator is marked "S" for safe. The front sight is a hooded post dovetailed to a raised base. The rear sight is a fully adjustable peep sight on a sliding escalator. It is marked from "1-9". The stock set is a 2 piece hardwood stock with a pistol grip, finger grooves, nose cap with bayonet lug, barrel band, sling loops, and a serrated hard rubber recoil pad.
