Mitchells Mauser M48, Premium Grade, Yugo M48, 8mm Cal., Boxed Package w/Bayonet, Sling
Description: Available for sale is a Premium grade Mauser M48 rifle with matching serial numbers,- A 89570. It is an original Mauser M48 version of the 98K built during the 1940's on German tooling set up in German occupied Yugoslavia, and together with its normal accessories, has been in Military storage since that time. It has a near pristine finish and appearance, together with its original teakwood stock. According to Mitchell, The rifle is therefore classified as Military-New. The Premium Grade rifle has its original, matching serial numbers on all major components, Bolt, reciever, Floorplate, and Stock. The particular rifle also comes with a Sling and keeper, Leather Ammo pouches, and a field cleaning kit. Note: The serial numbers on the Bayonet and scabbard do not match the serial numbers to the rifle. Bayonet serial numbers are: 48255 Even though the Mitchell Mauser box comes with the rifle and rifle accessories and is marked with the proper serial number of the rifle box, the bayonet mistakenly does not match the rifle itself. With that, the rifle has a reduced price to account for a mismatched bayonet. The estate owner where this gun came from has never fired the rifle after buying it from Mitchells. Rifle will need to be cleaned to get the cosmoline out of the receiver and bolt areas before firing. I can only ship to the lower 48 states. Sorry, but no sales to CA. Please be sure this rifle is legal to own in your state or region before purchasing. Cannot ship to a PO Box. Shipping will be a flat $50 in the lower 48.
