Mauser Patrone 22 Long Rifle

Description:
Mauser Patrone Long Range 22LR rifle.  This fantastic rifle is part of a collection that I am selling for my father in law.  This gun is complete in almost every way, it has a walnut stock that has some wear do to age but very little in the way of scratches and nicks.  The hand checkering on the forearm and pistol grip is worn some but maintains it pattern.  The original pistol grip cap and Mauser embossed butt plate are in untarnished state.  The Mauser ingraved emblem on right side of butt stock is without flaws.  The rear sight slides effortlessly along the machined in grove along top of barrel.  Rear sight is complete and original.  Graduation markings machined into top of barrel along the slide track allow for precise long range shooting with iron sights.  Front sight has the original hood.  Gun also cones with a Weaver G4 scope mounted on a quick detach side mount, one of the mounting screws is missing.  Gun does have some bluing wear on barrel and there is a small amount of freckling on scope mounts and top of receiver.  Serial # match in every regard, the Mauser emblem is ingraved on top of receiver.  Sling swivel studs installed along with leather sling will be provided with gun.
